The\u00a0<\/span>Centre for Lebanese Studies (CLS)<\/span><\/b>, in partnership with the\u00a0<\/span>Centre for Southwest Asian and North African Studies (CSWANA)<\/span><\/b>\u00a0at the Faculty of History and\u00a0<\/span>Homerton College, University of Cambridge<\/span><\/b>, is\u00a0organising\u00a0a\u00a0<\/span>PhD workshop in Cambridge<\/span><\/b>\u00a0for doctoral students based in Lebanon and the UK.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This workshop is part of the\u00a0organisers\u2019\u00a0long-term commitment to supporting early-career scholars by strengthening their research, fostering critical\u00a0scholarship, and nurturing a collaborative community grounded in ethics of care. It offers participants the opportunity to present key aspects of their doctoral research and receive constructive, interdisciplinary feedback.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop is open to PhD candidates at any stage of their studies who are based in the UK or Lebanon and whose research focuses on the Southwest Asia and North Africa (SWANA) region. Applicants should be engaged in social science, humanities, or related disciplines, including but not limited to forced migration studies, refugee education, sociology, history, political science, anthropology, climate justice, and disability studies.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
